Teijin establishes Mexican subsidiary

Teijin Frontier Co Ltd, the Teijin Group’s fiber-products converting company, has established Teijin Frontier Mexico SA de CV in Mexico City as its first automotive material subsidiary in the Americas. The company will make materials for auto manufacturing and serve as a headquarters for the North American market, where Teijin Frontier is aiming to expand market share by supplying rubber and materials for car seats and airbags to Japanese and other automobile companies operating in Mexico. Sales and marketing activities are scheduled to begin in July 2016.
