Sustainability workshop at marine composites show

Trade association British Marine will be running a sustainability workshop at MarineAM, taking place on 6-7 July 2021 in Southampton, UK.

The workshop, taking place during the marine composites show, will focus on sharing views and considering ways to improve the sustainability of reinforced plastics in the sector.

Ideas arising will then be further considered and addressed by a sustainability working group and reported back to industry at the end of the year, organizers Fluency Marketing say.

‘We are at a point where technology and resources can provide solutions to many challenges facing the marine industry,’ said James Scott-Anderson, health and safety executive at British Marine. This is an opportunity for the composites and marine industries to exchange ideas which are essential for a long-term sustainable future.’
