Composites UK, the trade association for the UK composites industry, will be supported by boat membership association British Marine for its next sector showcase entitled Composite Materials in Marine Applications. The event, which will attract around 100 delegates, takes place on 11 October 2017 at Southampton Football Club in the UK. It is suitable for companies from across the supply chain from manufacturers of fibre reinforced polymer composites (FRPs) to designers, consultants and end users. It
‘Having the support of British Marine for this event means we are able to connect the composites community with end users, discovering the needs of boat-builders when using FRPs, what challenges are faced and future opportunities where the properties of the materials could be utilised,’ said Claire Whysall, communications manager.
