Sustainability good practice guide

Composites UK has published a good practice guide about the sustainability of fiber reinforced polymer composites.

“Composite materials are key enablers of decarbonisation and net-zero cannot be achieved without them,” the organization said. “However, composite materials also have their own environmental impacts and these will need to be steadily reduced for humanity to have a sustainable future.”

“Given the scale of these challenges, it can be difficult to know where to start to make a difference,” added Malcolm Forsyth, sustainability manager. He said that he wanted the guide to help composites businesses “take practical steps and quickly get going on the road towards true long-term sustainability”.

The guide can be accessed free after completing a questionnaire which can be found here.
