Supercar manufacturer appoints new chair

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) has appointed Mike Flewitt as its new chair of the board.

The company, based in the UK, is the creator of the Mono R single seater supercar, which uses graphite carbon fiber reinforced plastic in its body panels.

According to the company, this appointment is part of the company’s plan to scale up production and add new models to its Mono brand.

Flewitt has previously worked for McLaren Automotive and Ford of Europe where he focuses on on industrialising products and taking processes from concept to production.

“The single-seater Mono and Mono R supercars are extraordinary accomplishments that could have only been created by continuously pushing the boundaries of automotive technology,” said Flewitt. “With BAC’s recent successful expansion across Europe, North America and Asia, the brand is rapidly expanding as a bona fide global player.”
