SAERTEX expands production capacity in US and Brazil

With the addition of FGI's equipment, SAERTEX will now expand its focus on the North American marine and industrial markets.

The marine industry, in particular, will enjoy wider access to SAERTEX's product portfolio, including SAERcore, a reinforcement textile combining any desired core material and facing materials.

SAERTEX will also continue to strengthen its presence in in the Brazilian market with its newest facility SAERTEX Brasil in Indaiatuba, São Paulo.

This site, which began production in 2014, will increase its annual production capacity of non-crimp multiaxial fabrics from the current 5000 tons to 15,000 tons in 2015. 

The SAERTEX Group, headquartered in Germany, produces glass, aramid and carbon fibre multiaxial non-crimp fabrics (NCFs) for use in manufacturing composites. The company has manufacturing facilities in Europe, South Africa, the USA, India, Brazil and China, and a sales and distribution network covering more than 50 countries.
