A new multi-purpose reactor and blending vessels, together with modifications to the existing capacity, will 'greatly increase' the plant's production capability. Deltech will also be able to produce a greater range of specialised resins, including products from its range of vinyl ester and unsaturated polyester materials.
Deltech has experience in styrene-free resins based on specialist monomers produced by its US-based parent company Deltech Corporation.
The new UK capacity will come on-stream during summer 2015.
