Quatro Composites wins Boeing 787 Dreamliner contract

“We are honored to be a part of this exciting new generation of aircraft,” says Quatro Composites’ President, Steve Roesner. “Boeing’s strategy of converting metallic fittings to composite for its weight and cost benefits is perfectly in line with Quatro’s vision and core competencies.”

Quatro Composites and the Boeing Fabrication Interiors Responsibility Center will work together to certify the composite fittings, with entry into service coinciding with the 787-9 Dreamliner configuration. Quatro’s award contract includes tooling, and parts certification, testing and production.

Quatro Composites, a wholly owned business of Tec Industries LLC, is an Iowa, USA, based advanced manufacturer offering a full line of services for the aerospace, defence, industrial and medical markets.
