The certification was awarded by DNV GL Group, which provides services in the fields of certification, verification, independent evaluation and training of personnel.
This international certification will help Prepreg-ACM improve its opportunities and market its products in the domestic and international markets, the company says.
Wind energy
“Continued certification of our glass and carbon fabrics will make it possible to use them in other fields, including the development of wind energy in Russia, producing composite blades for wind generators,” said Igor Laskorunsky, sales manager for maritime at Prepreg-ACM.
In mid 2014 Prepreg-ACM also received a certificate from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping as well as Type Approval Certificate for technical fabrics used in the marine industry.
