1. Toray develops ultra high-strength carbon fiber

Toray Industries Inc has developed Torayca T1200 carbon fiber, which it says is the world’s highest strength at 1,160 kilopound per square inch (ksi).

 

2. Creative Composites Group acquires United Fiberglass of America

Creative Composites Group (CCG) has acquired the assets of United Fiberglass of America Inc (UF), a manufacturer of quality fiberglass pipe, conduit and bridge drain infrastructure systems based in Springfield, Ohio.

 

3. MEL Composites works with ZEN Yachts on award-winning catamaran

MEL Composites is the main composite material supplier and infusion technical advisor for ZEN Yachts’ ZEN50 catamaran which has just won the Gussies 2023 award in the Electric Production Boat category for vessels over 8 meters (26 feet).
