North Thin Ply Technology (NTPT) is offering free of charge pre-forming services for customers buying the company’s UD prepregs.
The promotion will run for as long as NTPT has available automated tape laying (ATL) preforming capacity and gives customers the opportunity to order tailor made prepreg solutions. The promotion is applicable to all new prepreg customers who place their order from 1 September 2015 onwards.
‘The supply of preforming offers major advantages for prepreg users,’ said NTPT’s CEO James Austin. ‘NTPT is able to provide a set of prepreg materials in a ready-to-use preform format. This has the potential to reduce production cycle times (lay-up off the mold), and significantly reduce labour costs.’
