Lanxess has appointed Steven Thompson as its new UK managing director (MD), replacing Jacques Perez.
According to the company, Perez will assume the role of Lanxess rep Japan, and Thompson will keep his current position as head of human resources in EMEA. Thompson previously held roles in Chemtura and joined the company as global business partner of its polymer additives business unit.
Lanxess has around 500 employees at its offices and production sites in the UK.
