New CEO at Domo

Domo Chemicals, which makes nylon materials, has appointed Yves Bonte to succeed current CEO Alex Segers.

The company acquired Solvay's European performance polyamide business in January 2020 and Segers has held the CEO position at Domo since the company started its chemical activities in 1994, the company said. He will reportedly continue to play a role in the consolidation of the Solvay’s business and Domo into one company. ‘I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work with the Domo team over the past twenty-six years, which has really been an incredible journey,’ said Alex Segers. ‘We are now entering the next level for the company by integrating very soon the European performance polyamides business from Solvay.’ Bonte previously worked at fertilizer company Yara, Lyondell Basel and Exxon Chemicals.
