AVK, the German Federation of Reinforced Plastics, says that this year's conference follows a new format. There will be two series of lectures, where speakers will focus on current developments and innovations in technologies, materials and processes, as well as on the status of the glass and carbon fibre reinforced plastic (GRP and CFRP) market.
The conference will close with a panel discussion on The Future of Fibre Reinforced Plastics in the Automotive Sector, during which participants from the automotive industry and its suppliers will consider the current state of composites technology.
This year, once again, the AVK conference is the opening event of the COMPOSITES EUROPE trade fair, which takes place on 27-29 September in Stuttgart, Germany.
COMPOSITES EUROPE is organised by Reed Exhibitions and supported by the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA), the German Federation for Reinforced Plastics (AVK), and Reinforced Plastics magazine.
