Composites 2012, organised by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), takes place on 21-23 February.
At the show, Gurit will be highlighting its extended core materials range for the wind energy and marine markets. This comprises:
- Corecell™, a structural foam core using a SAN polymer base;
- PVCell™ G-Foam, a closed cell, cross-linked PVC foam;
- G-PET, a recyclable structural foam that is compatible with a range of resin systems; and
- Balsaflex®, a high quality end grain balsa core material.
All are available in sheet form or as tailored pieces in kit format.
Alongside its core materials, SP-High Modulus, the marine business of Gurit, will be promoting its range of prepreg materials (including SPRINT®) and the marine construction solution B3 SmartPac.
