The Shock Test Certificate is a mandatory requirement to become an approved supplier to the Royal Navy.
To obtain this certification, FPI has successfully conducted as series of rigorous tests of its composite pipe systems at the QintiQ test facility in Scotland. During these qualifications, FPI’s pipes were subjected to heavy tests, including the simulation of shock waves that would go through a ship after an explosion has taken place.
With this certification, FPI will now, besides the merchant marine market, also be able to supply its products to the navy market.
