Front Street Shipyard, a manufacturer of composite boats based in Maine, USA, has begun construction of a new facility next to its existing yard on the waterfront. The new facility will accommodate large yacht refits and commercial vessel construction projects while adding approximately 40 more full-time job, the company said.
The new facility will be tall enough to fit the large 485-ton mobile hoist to drive boats inside, maximizing space and reportedly reducing the need for additional support equipment.
