SR 1526 is a two component epoxy system designed to suit in-house prepreg processes with improved viscosity and range of combination hardeners. SR1526 has been awarded a number of accreditations for aerospace cabin interiors and is also suitable for rail applications.
Sicomin also plans to show a range of clear coating, laminating and foaming epoxy systems for automotive and its fire retardant products for the rail and aerospace markets.
Structural parts
Developed specifically for the production of challenging geometric laminates, Sicomin's foaming epoxy systems are suitable for the production of strong, high quality, structural parts that are too expensive or complex to create using a rigid foam or honeycomb core.
On show will be TOP Clear clear resin system designed for the manufacture of laminates with a translucent finish making it suitable for the production of clear carbon parts.
Sicomin will also be exhibiting SR1124, which offers fire resistance as required for automotive, rail, aerospace and construction applications. Designed for hand laminating and filament winding processes, SR1124 has been improved to ensure halogen free and flame retardant properties with low smoke opacity and toxicity levels.
