“This decision by the Commission comes at the right time,” says Federal Environment Minister Norbert Röttgen.
“We will only meet our energy policy goal of 25 GW offshore by 2030 if offshore wind energy is promoted consistently. Aplha ventus is a milestone on the way to a near-CO2-free electricity supply in Germany.”
