Plastic compounding specialist Ensinger has acquired Swiss plastics processing company next composites GmbH, which makes finished parts from carbon reinforced thermoplastics.

While Ensinger already offers semi-finished products made of highly filled carbon fiber composite material, the process technologies from next composites will improve the range of technologies for manufacturing components, the company said. next composites could also benefit from the Ensinger group’s broader customer base.
