Date set for composites summit

The European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) reports that the next International Composites Summit (ICS) will take place in London, UK from 8–9 September.

The meeting, which has been postponed from March 2021, includes a gathering of various global associations in the composites industry. While the meeting is live, global trade associations still under Covid-19 travel restrictions will be able to access a live stream of the event.

According to organizers JEC and Composites UK, the summit will address global opportunities for sales and growth in the composites sector and ways to help deliver the climate change targets set out in the green agenda.

‘Given the challenges faced by the global composites industry over the last 18 months through the COVID-19 pandemic and current materials crisis, this opportunity to come together and share experiences and best practice is more important than ever,’ said Dr Sue Halliwell, operations manager at Composites UK.
