Composites UK says that its first International Composites Summit (ICS) attracted 600 people each day and 46 visiting exhibitors during the event.
The summit, which focused on reinventing the global supply chain for composites, took place at the beginning of September 2021.
‘The rebooking statistics speak volumes – industry needed this event,’ said Gemma Smith, MD at event organizer Fluency Marketing. ‘The attendees were serious about composite materials which resulted in business deals being done on the show floor. After 18 months, the industry was ready to meet face-to-face and take its future into its own hands.’
The next ICS will take place from 21–22 September 2022 in London, UK.
