Creative Pultrusions to market and manufacture TRANSONITE panel system

The TRANSONITE® panel will be marketed to a range of industries where lightweight, corrosion resistant, multidirectional Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products are required. ECC is a composites research and development company located in San Diego, California.

CPI is a pultruder providing high-end profiles. Originally founded in 1973, CPI was acquired by Hill & Smith Holdings PLC (HS) in September 2008. The company designs, manufactures and supplies infrastructure products, galvanising services and building and construction products. HS has sales of over $700 million. Headquartered in the UK and quoted on the London Stock Exchange, HS employs some 3,600 staff across 51 sites, principally in the UK, France, U.S., Thailand, and China.

Shane Weyant, Chief Executive Officer/President stated: “With the opportunity to represent and manufacture TRANSONITE® panels, CPI will have vast opportunities in several markets, due to the distinct advantages that this 3-D sandwich panel offers in overall performance.”

David Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of ECC said: “I echo Mr. Weyant’s comments, as multiple industries will now have available, a lightweight, non-delaminating sandwich panel, with performance never before available.”
