In Acrosoma's 'stitched' sandwich panel technology the composite facing layers are sewn together through a foam core material. Various combinations of foam core, reinforcement, resin and stitching fibre are possible. The standard Stitched Panel H60, for example, employs combined fibre mats (glass/carbon), vinyl ester resin, PET foam core, and aramid fibre stitch. |
Acrosoma’s production of sandwich panels will remain in Lokeren, Belgium, under the name VDL Fibertech Belgium.
The sandwich panels will continue to be branded as Acrosoma Sandwich Panels.
