COMPOSITES EUROPE 2007 was held in Stuttgart. This year the show returns to Essen, alongside ALUMINIUM 2008.

Taking place on 23–25 September in Essen, Germany, both shows will highlight the latest technological developments in aluminium and reinforced plastics. This combined event will prove especially valuable for visitors interested in the manufacture, design and development of lightweight structures.

Two years ago, the first COMPOSITES EUROPE exhibition took place in Essen, alongside ALUMINIUM. After this successful start, the trade fair for reinforced plastics continued on its growth course last year in Stuttgart, Germany, attracting 200 exhibitors and over 4100 trade visitors. This year, COMPOSITES EUROPE and ALUMINIUM again join forces to form the biggest platform for lightweight construction materials in Europe.

COMPOSITES EUROPE is organised in cooperation with the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA), German composites organisation AVK, which holds its annual conference alongside the event, and international trade magazine Reinforced Plastics.

With over 15 270 trade visitors from 97 countries at the last event, ALUMINIUM is the world's biggest trade fair for the aluminium industry.

Both events are organised by Reed Exhibitions.
