‘Composite Park’ to be established in France

Composite Park aims to become Europe’s first business park to provide services and infrastructure across the whole composites value chain, from design and formulation through to industrialisation. The site at Porcelette is close to Germany and Luxembourg and consists of 25 hectares, with a further 45 hectares available.

Composite Park will offer a package of services, including: a central management and promotion unit; technology transfer; a non-destructive testing (NDT) centre; and recruitment support for composite-related jobs. It will feature a unit to set up joint research projects, plus a scheme to support business start-ups.

Composite Park aims to create 250 jobs in Eastern Moselle. It is supported by public-sector stakeholders on a national and regional scale and local universities and schools, with backing from Total Petrochemicals.
