Chomarat plans to showcase two new applications for its C-PLY carbon multiaxial non-crimp fabric (NCF) at the CAMX Expo, taking place from 12–14 December 2017 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The drone wing has been designed in partnership with Vx Aerospace and Northrup Grumman Corporation and the kayak in partnership with Confluence Outdoor.

C-PLY has is used in the construction of the drone wing, the horizontal stabilizers, the vertical fin and all of the control surfaces. The material was chosen for use in the kayak due to its mechanical properties, which reportedly increase the kayak’s performance ten times compared to a classic construction.
