The aim of the event is to look at key innovations in using FRPs in mass transport applications, and the challenges that are still to be addressed.
Papers are invited on the subject of mass transport applications. Topics include:
- Innovative materials and component design
- Applications where composites are currently offering a solution to changes in legislation and performance requirements
- Light weighting
- Crashworthiness
- Joining and repair
- Cost considerations
- Examples of good practice
- Novel applications of FRP composites in transportation
A short abstract (250 words max.) should be sent to events@netcompoistes.com no later than Friday 4 July 2014. Abstracts on other related topics will be considered.
