Under the proposed agreement, Ashland would utilise all of NPPL's capacity. Production could start soon.

NPPL's manufacturing facility is located near the port of Kandla, in the State of Gujarat. It produces unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, gel-coats and flame retardant resins.
“With India's booming economy, the composites industry's needs are growing rapidly,” adds Bharat Chhabria, Business Development Manager, Ashland Performance Materials. “Our alliance with NPPL allows us to respond to our customers' requirements on short notice and with a wider range of products.”
