Arburg Ltd base in Warwick, UK reportedly celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2018. The UK subsidiary begun with an 18-strong team headed up by Frank Davis. Since 2005, Colin Tirel has been MD of the subsidiary, and today the Arburg team has a total of 26 employees, 17 of whom work in after-sales.

The main focus is on the production of thermoplastic parts, but in recent years, the areas of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing and multi-component injection molding have grown, Arburg says. One of the trends in the UK and Ireland is towards larger, multi-cavity molds and Arburg is reportedly well positioned to cope with this, due to the extension of the clamping force range up to 6,500 kN.
