Effective Quarter 1 2013, or as contracts allow, AkzoNobel Functional Chemicals increases by 10% the prices for several lines of organic peroxides, azo initiators, as well as cobalt and amine accelerators.
Products affected, as neat or formulated on a wide range of solvents or carriers, will be:
- Perkadox 14, Perkadox 16, Perkadox BC, Perkadox AIBN, Perkadox AMBN
- Trigonox 29, Trigonox 17, Trigonox K, Trigonox T
- Laurox, Cyclonox
- Cobalt and amine accelerators
This increase, effective for all customers in Europe, the Midde East, India and Africa, is necessary to offset the rising costs of raw materials, energy, transportation as well as EHSE and regulatory compliance.
