AGC AeroComposites, with facilities in the US and UK, is a provider of composite and metallic aerostructures and components.

ATK (NYSE: ATK) is a US-headquartered aerospace, defense and commercial products company.

With their combined capabilities the companies will provide composite design and manufacturing capabilities encompassing:

  • both structural and non-structural advanced composite products; and
  • specialised equipment, tooling and manufacturing processes spanning fibre placement, automated tape lay-up, large resin transfer moulding (RTM) and finishing and specifically hand lay-up.

“This teaming agreement allows AGC AeroComposites to meet a wider range of customer needs and to grow our business efficiently,” says Rick Armstrong, president and CEO of AGC AeroComposites.

"It’s a perfect fit with our overall strategic growth plan, and will allow us to continue to add to our presence on new generation aircraft with high composite content.”
