Mixer company Charles Ross says that its Ross Test & Development Center has installed an advanced planetary mixer which is available for free demonstrations. The four-gallon model PDDM-4 planetary dual disperser is equipped with two high viscosity blades and two high speed dispersers.

All four agitators rotate on their own axes while orbiting the vessel, helping ensure rapid powder wet-out and deagglomeration. It is designed for vacuum operation and includes a jacketed mix vessel. It is suitable for mixing thick slurries and highly-filled pastes.
