Spheretex launches reinforced material

Spheretex, which makes lightweight core materials has developed Sphere.easy, a core material with outer layers of reinforcement.

The material is available in a sandwich laminate and closed mold version and reportedly has a fast and constant resin flow during the infusion or injection process. It can be laminated wet-in-wet with the same resin as the covering laminates, and is designed for all common resin systems.

‘It was our aim to offer one product that combines several jobs for hand lamination,’ said Spheretex’ managing director Christoph Esser.

The new product will be on show at Composites Europe taking place in Stuttgart, Germany.
