Hypetex, which makes colored carbon fiber prepreg, has partnered with SHD Group to combine colored fabrics with SHD’s MTC epoxy resin systems.
According to Hypetex, its colorization process can be applied to a variety of reinforcement fibers including carbon, glass, aramid, and natural fibers. Combined with the MTC systems, the colored materials offer improved visual finishes and also, in certain applications, potential weight savings.
