The pumps can be used to produce polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor used to manufacture car-bon fiber and can also manage the flow of resins and polymers in a number of composites man-ufacturing processes including coating, prepreg, filament winding and spraying, the company said.
“The ability to accurately control the flow of resins and polymers is fundamental to the success of composite manufacturing,” said industrial director Neil Anderton.
