Technical Fibre Products (TFP) have provided lightweight glass veil to help make a range of ice hockey sticks.

The company’s Optiveil range features an even fiber distribution that provides a low-tack surface on the uncured parts and an improved surface finish after molding. The high porosity of the veil also minimizes microporosity, according to the copany! When incorporated in either the interlaminar or surface regions, the veil serves as a flow media and helps reduce porosity, part weight and scrap.
