Solico, a composite engineering specialist for the maritime, architectural, defence, and industrial sectors, has launched software for the design, calculation and optimisation of composite storage tanks and silos.
According to the company, its Amphora software allows glass fiber composite tank and vessel engineers to develop EN 13121 compliant designs based on their own materials and production parameters.
The software makes it possible to improve tanks and silos, evaluating how dimensions, material selection and other factors can impact component design and cost, according to Solico.
