Carbon fiber rackets help you play better squash

Sports manufacturer Prince Global has developed a range of squash rackets featuring carbon fiber material.

Five of the new models launched by the company incorporate TeXtreme material into the head of the racquet.

TeXtreme is a light and strong carbon fiber material based on spreading tows (yarns) into tapes that are weaved into a fabric. The fabric produced is thinner than conventional carbon fiber fabrics, with straighter fibers that can strengthen the composite while delivering a lighter weight. Positioned in the upper hoop of the racket, the material can reduce racket head frame deformation, resulting in improved torsional stability upon impact.

'We’re confident this line of racquets will help us to continue not only meeting the needs of every squash player at every level, but more importantly helping all players play better squash,’ said Jon Ballardie, VP of global squash at Prince Global Sports.
