3A Composites plans to present its new AIREX T10.60 and BALTEK VBC QX foam cores at Composites Europe.

The cores are based on PET foam and balsa wood materials and aimed at the wind, automotive, construction, marine, and leisure applications.

AIREX T10.60 has a homogeneous cell structure and highly-oriented properties. The cells are oriented to maximize vertical compression properties and the shear properties in the sheets’ length direction exceed the values of all comparable products, according to the company.

AIREX T10.60c can be used in sandwich applications including trucks, nacelles, and building and construction.

‘The European market is a key market for 3A Composites AirexBaltekBanova products,’ said Eric Gauthier, president of global key accounts.
