ZWICK webcast to showcase composites testing

Zwick USA is hosting a free webcast describing some of the challenges associated with achieving accurate measurement results for compression tests on composites.

Presented by Helmut Fahrenholz, composites industry manager for Zwick/Roell, a supplier of composite materials testing solutions, the webcast will outline key benefits offered by the company’s Hydraulic Composite Compression Fixture (HCCF) test device in support of compression testing.  The HCCF test device is designed for the testing of polymer matrix composites with unidirectional or multidirectional reinforcements.

The presentation will indicate how the device conforms to several international testing standards such as ASTM D6641 for combined loading tests and ASTM D 3410 for shear loading compression tests, as well as ISO 14126 and prEN 2850.

The webcast takes place on Thursday, 10 December at 10 am Eastern time. To register for the event, go here.
