Velox GmbH, a European distributor of composite materials, has expanded its distribution partnership with Low & Bonar.
Velox will be distributing Low & Bonar’s Enka-Channel and Enka-Fusion products throughout Europe. Enka-Channel is a flow feeder for resin infusion which helps improve resin flow during the vacuum infusion process and cause less resin waste. It has a high compression resistance, is easy to cut and can be quickly fixed in the mold. Enka-Fusion is a flow media for resin infusion which reportedly guarantees a quick and even resin distribution with short infusion times, an improved resin speed and reduced resin waste. Main applications are the marine and wind industries, such as wind turbine blades and catamarans.
‘We are delighted about this new distribution agreement,’ said Serge Gradys, business unit manager composites at Velox. ‘Low & Bonar is well-experienced in industrial composites and we have successfully worked together in the French market for many years.’
