The 100 turbine, 300 MW offshore wind farm involved an investment of close to SEK10 billion (€1 billion). It has a combined energy capacity corresponding to the annual electricity needs of over 200 000 households.

Vattenfall today fully or partially owns and operates 8 offshore wind farms: three in Sweden, one in Denmark, one in the Netherlands, two in England, and one in Germany. Vattenfall’s share of their total production capacity amounts to 690 MW.

Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest generator of electricity and the largest generator of heat. Parent company Vattenfall AB is wholly owned by the Swedish state.
