Composite company TRB Lightweight Structures, based in the UK and the US, says that it has maintained production during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company said that it hired 16 extra temporary staff in May to help with an increasing workload, and more will be required in the coming months in order to complete contracts for the rest of the year. TRB has also adapted one of its machines to produce personal protective equipment (PPE).

‘Our goal was to keep the company stable, safe and contributing during the pandemic, providing a much-needed boost to the economy,’ said Richard Holland, managing director at TRB. ‘We appreciate the efforts that our staff have made in these difficult times.’
