TRB Lightweight Structures appoints new MD

TRB says that the change is part of a long-term strategic plan to meet global demand by continuously strengthening the team, increasing capabilities and improving facilities at the company.

Mr. Holland has been a lean practitioner since 1995, focusing on manufacturing in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and rail industries. His experience includes Supply Chain Director and Divisional Vice President at a U.S.-based Amana plant with nearly $1 billion in sales. He was most recently Vice President at TBM Consulting Group, a global consulting firm that helps clients create operational excellence. At TBM, Richard developed the European team and was instrumental in supporting the lean efforts of companies such as Alstom, Zodiac, and Eurostar.

“Richard Holland has the experience we have been searching for, with a proven history of lean implementation and successful leadership of growing organisations,” said Jonathan McQueen, CEO of TRB Lightweight Structures.

McQueen continued, “Our previous MD, Julie Quirke, was instrumental in leading the company through the last five years, including growth through an economic recession. The coupling of Julie’s knowledge of the organization with Richard’s experience in lean leadership sets up TRB to successfully meet growing demand.
