The International Conference and Exhibition on Reinforced Plastics (ICERP) takes place in Mumbai, India, on 2-4 March, organised by the FRP Institute of India.

Toho Tenax’s first appearance in the show will highlight the company's growing initiatives to develop its carbon fibre market in India. On exhibition stands J22 and J23 Toho Tenax will present a range of advanced carbon fibre products, including:

  • composite products made with Tenax carbon fibre, including a pressure vessel, CT scan tabletop, automotive propeller shaft and bonnet, upper floor deck beam for the Airbus A380, and thermoplastic moulded material;
  • Tenax filament and chopped fibre; and
  • ultra-lightweight carbon fibre fabric.

The use of fibre reinforced plastics in India is expected to grow continuously in sectors such as energy, transportation, infrastructure, piping, wind energy and telecommunication.
