The award is in recognition ofTods continuing commitment to consistent quality, on-time delivery and investment into process improvement initiatives in the development and delivery of Sonar Bow Domes for the US Navy DD 1000 Zummwalt Destroyer ship build programme.
On accepting the award, at Raytheon Integrated Defence Systems' headquarters in Massachusetts, USA, Steve Burton, Managing Director, Tods Defence Ltd said: “This once again is recognition of Tods specialist expertise in the design, development and construction of these highly advanced composite sonar dome enclosures, which are designed to house the sophisticated electronic warfare detection equipment that is vital to the protection of this, one of the world’s most formidable warships."
