Teijin reorganises carbon fibre business

The Carbon Fibres and Composites Business Group will come into effect on 1 April 2011. It will comprise Toho Tenax Co Ltd and its subsidiary companies now in the current Carbon Fibres Business Group (which will be abolished on 1 April), the Teijin Composites Innovation Centre and GH Craft Ltd.

The integrated group is designed to enable Teijin to develop its composite materials business more strategically and strengthen both sales and profitability of its carbon fibre and composite materials businesses.

Japanese company Teijin is a global technology-driven group operating in eight main fields, one of which is carbon fibres.
