Injection molding specialist Techniplas says that it has successfully completed its acquisition of Nanogate Group’s core business.
Germany-based Nanogate produces components and surfaces for the automotive and industrial industries with finishing such as radar-transparency, translucency, anti-corrosion, scratch-proof, and non-stick properties.
With the new acquisition, Techniplas will now have manufacturing operations in Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, USA, Mexico, China, Brazil and South Africa as well as engineering centers in Germany, Switzerland, US, India and China, the company said.
‘The addition of Nanogate’s unique and proprietary finishing capabilities strategically complements Techniplas core expertise in injection molding to create one of a few companies of scale with a full suite of molding and finishing capabilities,’ said Ali El-Haj, CEO of Techniplas.
