Sustainability meetings at Advanced Engineering show

Future Materials Group (FMG), a materials advisory firm, says that it will be running a number of sustainability consultation sessions during the Advanced Engineering show, taking place from 3–4 November in Birmingham, UK.

‘With many industrial and transportation markets beginning to face regulatory updates requiring reductions in emissions and sustainability improvements, OEMs are starting to flow these requirements down through their supply chains as they look for support to meet industry carbon footprint targets,’ the company said. ‘Advanced materials have a key role to play for industries and companies working to achieve their new sustainability targets.’

The company plans to discuss ways to improve sustainability around materials, for example by reducing greenhouse gas emissions or raw material usage, improving installation or transportation efficiency, improving insulation properties, and extending product life.
